Thankgod the Salvation Army projects over with! As much as I enjoyed the fashion show, I really hated my dress after the disasters it went through! There was some really good garments there, my favourite collection had to be 70's! which inspired me for our new project timelinee!.

New designs..

After the cutting disaster of the dress i started drawing up new designs for the dress and making it above the knee instead of full length..

Tribal

Missonis Spring/sumnmer collection really remind me of tribal with the prints they have used and all the colours, there very inspirational and i love the accessories.

Day three

Well to say i cut my dress badly would be an understatement! I got VERY scissor happy. But I've put it on the manikin and have been pinning it and i have an idea of what i can do with it, instead of having it a full length dress trying a above the knee length. Also I'm thinking of not having it as a strapless dress and maybe showing some of the material underneath as its also nice, so I'm just hoping for the best and keeping my fingers crossed!

Day two.

Today I started sketching out some ideas before i cut up my garment, and i decided to make a safari/tribal dress, these are my sketches...

This is the garment i choose, its a dress and i will be working on it by myself.

After dinner we were then given our garments of the salvation army, and we divided our selves up and choose which garment we would like to work with and choose our models.
